Built by Alloy Yachts, Akiko was first launched in 2007 and went on to pick up five major honours at the 2008 World Superyacht Awards. In 2022, Akiko expedition yacht will undergo a major shipyard/refit and will be ready for charters again in 2023.
Major Features
Gregory Marshall designed and engineered the 34m custom expedition yacht's exquisite exterior design and engineering. Following a comprehensive refit in New Zealand in 2016-2017, she was proudly introduced to the Australian charter market as VvS1 (after a diamond grade). The full-height windows in the living rooms dare the passing views to compete for your attention with the elegantly furnished interior. Akiko is small enough to fit into small harbors, anchor behind coral atolls, or fish for game over undersea reefs.
Australia's warm colors complement an interior that is both stunningly modern and invitingly rich. The accommodation includes a spacious owner's suite that spans the entire main deck, as well as four guest cabins with enough for ten live-aboard guests in lively, distinct areas. With an onboard private chef producing a food tailored to your preferences and five more crew members on hand to attend to your every need, Akiko provides an opportunity to enjoy quality time with those you care about most.
